Joe Provo's current role as an Associate Director in global packaging development includes commercialization of innovative new products and leading technical and strategic aspects of Merck’s approach to sustainable packaging, encompassing establishment of principles, lifecycle analysis targets, and a roadmap of transformative packaging project goals. Joe and holds a BS and MS in Packaging Science, his career has spanned 20+ years in pharmaceutical packaging development, and amongst industry peer groups. Joe has served on the Executive Committee of the IoPP Drug and Pharma Packaging Committee and led sub committees.
