80 Acres Farms, a fast-growing Cincinnati-based company is indoor vertical farming right here in Cincinnati! They have built a fully automated indoor farm in Hamilton, OH.
IOPP Cincinnati Chapter will participate in a unique virtual tour inside the farm at the new 150,000 facility. Produce grown at the Hamilton site will supply grocery retailers such as Whole Foods Markets, Dorothy Lane Markets, Jungle Jim's, and Kroger. The Hamilton site is automated from seeding to growing to harvesting to pack-out for highest quality and food safety standards.
