My firm is currently looking for a shrink film solution ideal for sealing harmful materials contained in shoebox sized containers. Eventually these materials will be disposed of, but in the interim, we're pursuing solutions to keep them contained in a way that reduces risk involved in their storage.
Our current preference is a shrink film solution to cover and then heat to seal the contents and will not lead to leakage if the containers are dropped. We would like to avoid vacuum sealing solutions for fear of extracting harmful contaminants during the process. This does not need to be an automated process as it will only be used for 200 individual packages. Has anyone had experience with a system that would be ideal for this kind of application?
