    Hi All,

    I'm looking for roll stock suppliers for PETG for our horizontal form fill seal machines. We are currently using an opaque HIP and we'd like to make the transitions to a clear material based on customer feedback. We will also attempt to downgauge through this process to a 25μ from a 30μ for our SBS to help with our footprint and costing. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

    As a manufacture of HFFS equipment there are numerous options for PETG conversion such as Pacur, Amcor and Impac as mentioned, I would consider when using Virgin PETG vs HIPS that you make sure your plugs and plug materials are correct as that will help with down grading your materials. We typically use IR heat with PETG as you get a superior Distibution of material over contact heat. Just make sure you heat both side on the sheet with contact plates.
