  • 1.  Plastic tubes - distribution methods when not cartoned

    Posted 11-03-2024 09:59 PM

    Hi all,

After opting to remove cartons from our plastic tubes, it is proving difficult to distribute them in a sustainable (recyclable) way. Without using a PP laminated divider/partition, there is extensive buffing to the surface - and the vendor is unable to improve the tubes durability. We have tried holding the tube in place by the cap only, but this does not provide a sufficient hold and often become dislodged during transit. The tubes are also quite flexible, and so pressure to the sleeve can cause distortion.

Is anyone able to please advise if there are other methods/designs that we could consider to distribute uncartoned plastic tubes? Would really appreciate any ideas/thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Danielle

    Hi Danielle,

I understand your concern about removing the cartons from plastic tubes, which can help you reduce the carbon footprint. I know someone from my contact who can help you with this, will you be okay to connect on this through a call? Please do let me know.
