  • 1.  Laminating Adhesives

    Can anyone tell us about how laminating adhesives are typically applied to flexible packaging and what kind of adhesives are used?
     
    Is a roll coating system most common? Is a spray on system used? I'd like to learn more about it from material suppliers, equipment builders, and end users if possible.

    Hi Diane, adhesives for flexible packaging are applied by a series of rollers. They can be either be solvent free or solvent based depending on the end application.
