  • 1.  Heat Resistance Paper

    Hello,

I am looking for some guidance re heat resistance of paper and paper packaging, such as fiber drums or paper bags, when PE inner coating or -lamination is not present.

In other words will the max. temperature resistance indicated on the adhesive's MSDS be the limiting factor?

The product intended to be filled is a powder with up to 350F. From there the unit will be stored in ambient conditions. There is no source of ignition and the product is not dust explosive.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

    Dear Benjamin,
We're working on a project for a stand-up pouch made from bio-natural substrate, including the zipper, and, therefore biodegradable.  The pouch can also be filled with wax and the wax melted in the microwave.

This might be a solution for you.
