What approaches have people taken to complete Gage r and R on the equipment they use for ASTM F88? Has anyone used surrogates or have completed a Type 1 gage study with a sample of a known value or has everyone just run a round robin study per E691? I've been using technique C to minimize variation on a Vinatoru (horizontal) system.
