Epoxy Alternatives for ISO/OSHA/FDA Compliance in Packaging Warehouses

    Hello Packaging Experts

I have a question regarding warehouse compliance for storing printed flexible packaging materials. Is there an acceptable substitute for epoxy flooring that still meets the requirements for ISO, OSHA, and FDA compliance?

I understand that epoxy coating is highly recommended due to its durability, cleanliness, and ease of maintenance, but I'd like to confirm whether it is strictly required or if alternative flooring solutions can also be compliant. (The warehouse stores Shrink sleeves, pouches with hot and cold sealing)

Additionally, for a warehouse handling printed flexible packaging materials, which ISO certification would be most relevant or commonly required?

I welcome insights from professionals in packaging warehouse management, supply chain logistics, or compliance consulting. Your expertise is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you in advance.
