    Good morning,

Does anyone have any insight on whether the area needs to be included on plastic bags such as Slow Cooker Liners? Our team is having a debate on whether 16 CFR 500.12 which notes; When the commodity has an area of 1 square foot (929 cm2) or more, but less than 4 square feet (37.1 dm2), be expressed in terms of area, followed by the length and width. Or, 16 CFR § 500.16, which covers disposable plastic bags including oven cooking bags and similar items. For these products, the net quantity statement must include: The number of bags in the package (count), the dimensions of the bags (length × width, in inches), measured flat from edge to edge excluding any closure or gusset. So a typical compliant declaration looks like: "4 Bags - 13 in × 21 in".

Can anyone help clarify? Thank you!
