Hello IoPP,

Does anyone have any recommended tools for cutting down thicker cardboard boxes by hand? We have a hand packing area for glass and it requires us to adjust the box sizes. Our current process just uses a retractable knife and results in uneven cuts and sore wrists. The cutting tools that I found online only seem to score the box instead of cutting it. Any Ideas?

Have you thought about looking into something like a Chompsaw? They are actually designed for kids, so they will be pretty safe. Not certain about the longevity of utilizing something like this in manufacturing but it may be worth reaching out to the company to understand how rigid they are with heavy use - there might also be a solution with something similar but more industrial grade.
