  • 1.  Capability to Conduct ASTM 4169 on Controlled Substances for Cold Chain Products

    Can anybody recommend a testing laboratory who can conduct ASTM D4169-22 testing for Schedule IV Controlled Substances?  The samples need to be stored at 2-8°C prior to and after the ASTM D4169-22 ship conditioning tests.

    The only lab that I can think of that might be able to perform that testing for you is Ten-E, https://www.ten-e.com/ 

    If you can't find anyone and end up needing to test with a placebo we are only a few hours from you and could turn this around in a few days.

    Evan,

    Agree with Ten-E (Minneapolis area location). They are a good testing company I currently use.

    A second suggestion is Westpak in California. They have two locations (San Jose and San Diego). They list cold chain testing on their website, have a lot of environmental chambers, and are good to work with. I have used both locations in the past.

    I had an internship at Ten-E Packaging Services back in 2018 in St. Paul, MN.  They specialize in hazmat and dangerous goods packaging testing and could absolutely condition and test your packaging.  Let me know if you would like a contact there.
