Hi everyone,
Has anyone worked on the new CFIA rule where the nutrition label size depends on the Available Display Surface (ADS) of the package?
I feel that the example given by CFIA at the link below is quite open to interpretation. The label is clearly applied to the side of the container, but if we exclude that area, we're only left with the principal display surface (PDS) , and that doesn't seem like an accurate reflection of the total available space to me (see my illustration below).
