Hello,

Does anyone have any information regarding this board structure and its correct ECT value? I believe that this is a new offering in the corrugated arena, but that there is a LOT of variation in how it is referenced and what it actually is.

If they certify it as 48 ECT then that is the lowest it can be they can use multiple board combos to achieve this. Ideally, a 48 ECT BC is the same strength as as 48 ECT EB

48EB is 35 / 23 / 33 / 23 / 35. It uses an E flute medium closer to the outer liner and B flute medium closer to the inside liner. It has 0.1875 caliper, so it designs similarly to C flute. My team has been using it for a few years, though we usually default to 51EB instead of 48. Does this help?
