The Golden Gate Chapter invites you to an exclusive tour of Mango Materials, a leading renewable bioproducts company in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

This event will educate industry professionals about a new kind of plastic that can be a game-changer and create a sustainable way to use plastics in the future. It will start with a presentation explaining Mango Materials’ PHA pellet products, how they’re manufactured, how PHA stands out from other plastics, and current products in the market. Following the presentation, attendees will tour the facility to learn more about Mango Materials’ unique closed-loop manufacturing process using methane to create PHA pellets.

Members and students attend free; affiliates and non-members pay $10. For safety, wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Hard hats and safety vests will be provided. Register by June 7.

Based in Vacaville, CA, Mango Materials produces highly biodegradable PHA pellets for injection molding suitable for caps, bottles, jars, and more. Their PHA stands out for its ability to biodegrade in various environments, including the ocean. Mango Materials uses a closed-loop cycle to source methane from a nearby wastewater treatment plant as feedstock.
