I hold degrees in Packaging Science and IT, plus an MBA, and I've spent my career at the intersection of structural design, materials, and business impact.
For nearly 20 years I've run packagingcalculator.com, a free web-based resource for packaging students and professionals doing daily lab and structural calculations. I recently launched PackLogic, a mobile app version of that toolkit — bringing unit conversions, McKee box compression, gas transmission rate, and a full pallet pattern generator to phones for on-the-go engineering work.
I also run SW Packaging Consultants, Inc., offering packaging consulting alongside an in-house custom label printing and e-commerce label business (swxpackaging.com). Based in Santa Clarita/Valencia, CA.
Outside of work, I'm an avid sports card and comic book collector, and I enjoy backyard landscaping projects.
