Dear members of the Meadowlands and NJ Chapters of IoPP,
For those that don't know me my name is Adam Brakoniecki and I am writing to you today to introduce myself as the new President of the Meadowlands Chapter of IoPP (mIOPP).
First off, I want to recognize Franco Diaz, who has led our mIOPP chapter for the last decade, for his dedication, leadership, and guidance over these years. Franco will still be a member of our Board of Directors but elected to step down and hand over the reigns earlier this year.
As for myself, I have been a part of the Meadowlands Chapter for almost 20 years and have worked and resided in the tri-state area during that time. I currently work at a large medical device manufacturer in Northern NJ and have a BS and MS in Packaging from Michigan State University.
You will be hearing more from me in the coming weeks and months as I settle into this new role however there are a few announcements that I wanted to make the chapter aware of:
Survey: You will all be receiving a link to a survey from IOPP specifically for our chapters (including NJ and Meadowlands Chapters). I am interested in understanding how the mIOPP can best deliver value for the NY/NJ Packaging community and increase overall engagement.
Website: In an effort to streamline our chapter communication we will be utilizing the IOPP PackChat community as both our chapter website as well as a communication tool and forum. While this is still a work in progress you can find the community at this link: Meadowlands Chapter Pack Chat
I look forward to the opportunity to grow the amazing legacy that the Meadowlands Chapter has built and hope to meet many of you in person at an upcoming event!!
