Virginia Tech’s Packaging Systems and Design program hosts PackJam 2027, a student-led conference bringing packaging students, faculty, and industry professionals together from across North America.
Centered on the theme “Pack-GPT: AI, Packaging, and Career,” the three-day event features educational sessions, networking, facility tours, professional development, and the Packaging Job Fair. Students can connect with peers and industry professionals while learning about AI, emerging technologies, sustainability, and current packaging trends. The Job Fair also creates opportunities to meet employers recruiting for jobs and internships.
Industry professionals can connect with future packaging talent, share expertise, and strengthen relationships with university packaging programs.
PackJam rotates among leading packaging programs across North America. In 2027, Virginia Tech hosts the conference for the fourth time in 17 years.
